I just got this email.  Apparently, EMS is going to be at this science open
house thingie in two weeks.

If somebody here is organizing it, that's great!  If nobody knows anything about

Greetings All,

The OCO & SPICE present the 2nd Annual Science Open House and we need
your help!  We need volunteers to help with set up, to assist with
hands on science activities and to help with clean up afterwards.  No
science experience is necessary.  Move info about the event can be
found below including a flyer.

What: Free Fun Science Activities
Where: Willamette Hall Atrium on the UO Campus
When: Wed. Sept. 19, 2012, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Who: Families, Educators and Science Lovers of all ages

The purpose of the event is to help connect community families to
science education and outreach programs in the community.
Participants include Eugene Maker Space, the Brain Development Lab,
the UO Geology club, Tinkersmith and many more.

SPICE will provide several hands on activities and demonstrations such
as the "Laser Maze," "Flubber Factory," "Egg Drop" and the all age
"Science Triathlon."  A number of programs from around the community
will be present with activities and information.
