[EMS Discuss] Potential property at Broadway and WIllamette

Hi guys,

I am not a paying member yet. But I would like to add a thought here anyways. :)

I helped Organizing Bytewerk hackerspace in Ingolstadt Germany. We also got a storefront. It had huge advantages as well as disadvantages. We could attract way more paying members through exposure, and lost a lot of privacy when you were working on a project.

Definitely the central location of the place is a huge plus. I personally think that outweighs over time the increased cost of a place like that. You have no idea how much more people are willing to pay and be a member if the access to the space is easy using public transport. At least that was the case with Bytewerk. :)
