*Hello, Makers!*

Greetings again from the Science Factory! As always, it took much longer
than I thought, but we are finally official in our license to hold the *2014
Eugene Mini Maker Faire*! I will be updating our web page and Facebook over
the next few days, but I just couldn't wait another minute to put the call
out to all of you who exhibited with us last year. *We'd love to have you
back with us!*

This year's Faire will be on *Saturday, June 7th from 10AM to 4PM* here at
the Science Factory. If you are interested in returning, please fill out
the application form (it's virtually the same form as last year) at:

(Within a few days, I will have this linked on eugenemakerfaire.com and our
Facebook page, so if want to pass it along to any other makers, you can
simply refer them there rather than to that unwieldy link.)

This year I'm making a special push for makers who would be interested in
giving scheduled *talks or presentations* in the planetarium (in addition
to, or instead of, a standard booth or table). Such a talk could be a
"how-to" for a specific project, an introduction to your field for
beginners, or a great story about a project that you especially enjoyed or
learned from. If you are interested, please indicate this on the

Besides simply coming back, there are other ways that you can participate
in this year's event. If you're interested in *hanging flyers, contacting
potential sponsors, writing a blog post, or reaching out to other maker
groups*, please drop me an e-mail and I'll keep you posted on what needs to
be done.

I hope to see as many of you as possible on June 7th! Thanks as always for
your help in sparking interest in science, technology, and DIY in Eugene.
