First Friday Art Walk with EUGENE BRiGHT Parade and Friends

We met up with the Bright Parade folks earlier this year and wanted to do something together. That opportunity came up when the Bright Parade sponsored June’s First Friday Artwalk. We had a table in the Farmer’s market pavillion for the evening to talk with visitors about the makerspace community, LEDs and lighting up costumes.

It was a fun time. We got to do some field repairs, make silly hats, hand out fliers and meet some interesting people. Ryan brought along his MagicShifter POV display, Sam brought a tall hat with a bunch of addressable LEDS. We did some paper circuits and cooked up new collaborations and projects. Every event we’ve done leads to another opportunity so while the energy and enthusiasm is there, we’ll keep showing up.
